1. I’ll pay the unsubsidized amount for my phone and then I own it and don’t owe the carrier 2 years of my life. If they want to give a discount for someone who signs up for an extended contract, make the monthly rate cheaper. Subsidizing phones and exclusive contracts are not good for the consumer and only prop up poor business services on the part of the carriers.
